Where Are They Now? A Campaign Suggestion

In June 1996  100 Prominent Australians who think the ABC is worth saving wrote an open letter to the then Prime Minister expressing concerns which remain current, 13 years later!!!

Perhaps we need to contract those 100 Prominent Australians and add to their ranks in another open letter this year?

I am writing for my 91 year old motherinlaw who has to watch the ABC
She has watched it all her life & is not going to change at this stage of her life
Her problem is there is nothing on at 8pm after the 7.30 report that is entertaining & to have Miss Marple on at 8.30pm on a sunday night (It is too late for the oldies, your viewers)
She watches your documentary & is bored on sunday night
We have Foxtel but she must watch her very much loved ABC even though there is not much entainment on it for her
    It is sad
